This is a thread regarding the "Carnival Vista" and its prices, what do you think it'll be per- person when it voyages.

 

My guess is $500-$750 a person.

It depends on the homeport, time of year, stateroom type, what is included and what the perceived value is. If most guests are unable to justify paying a high price for it and bookings are low, the price will drop.

I imagine it will be Breeze-like. Shake-out cruise in Europe then home ported in Florida-Miami is my guess.

 

Miami is a 4 hour drive away from home. :p

Have booked a 6 day Western Caribbean in March,2017 in a Havana Cabana for about $2000.00, which I thought was a fair price.

Is it just me, or are the prices for the 10-night European cruises a great deal? 10-nights visiting 8 ports starting at $899 for May 2016? I was waiting for RCI to announce Harmony itineraries/prices but this is a great itinerary, new ship, and low price. I'm not Carnival's biggest fan but this really caught my eye and I'm really looking into it.

Not just you, I agree. We thought so much we booked a 10-day, interior (Havana) Room. It's a little more than you quoted as we sail in June and there's a moderate upcharge for the Havana area but still a good deal to us.

 

If you look at the cost on a per day per person basis, it's less than our last cruise on the Elation.

I have been tempted by the great prices also. Booked my first Carnival cruise, never thought I would but a brand new ship and a visit to Messina convinced me. I was waiting for harmony but the low prices with carnival means I can book something else as well.

I thought it was a good deal too! It is around the same price I paid for just a 7 day Med cruise last May with RCI.

I just booked 1/22/17 Catagory 6A OV for $399 pp with half deposit and $100 OBC. 6 days Eastern Caribbean.

We had been looking at an itinerary on Norwegian hoping it held for 2017 and when we saw the prices on the Vista cruises booked it during a 50% deposit sale. For the price we could afford to go a year early.
