Fashion Expert!

I was at a great do last night in my friends house. She runs all kinds of courses for women. Last night they had a fashion expert from Sweden who gave us indivual advice. It was great fun. There are five categories of personality. Classic. Sporty. (forgot one!) Romantic and Dramatic. You can be one, or a mixture. I am apparently a romantic dramatic! She did a test for our colour by holding a silver and then a gold piece of material by our faces with a neutral hair band on. From there, she established our colours. I am spring and summer. It was good fun. I kind of knew my colours anyway, but there were a few I would not have particularly chosen which worked well for me. I asked her advice on choosing a new evening dress. Turquoise..she says is "MY" colour! I do have a torquoise cocktail dress, but maybe I should go for it in an evening dress. She also did our hair, make up etc. Great night!
Anyone else done this?

Here in America, they have something similar wherein they do a "color analysis" of your skin, and what shades look best on you.
Pretty interesting!

Jean..yes she did! It was a swedish make though so dont know what it was. I am pretty tanned just now so she did mopre of a bronzing glow. She used a very soft bronze pencil to eyeline. It looked great, not as harsh as black and brought the blue out in my eyes. BUT I still will never get a straight line!
Shelia, ah ha...cosmic twin! What an entrance then we would make Drama queen
