Checking in at Comfort Suites ??

For everyone that has used the Comfort Suites to obtain the passes for Atlantis, could you please let me know if when you checked in at the Comfort Suites did they require your whole party to be there? I would like for the rest of my family to go on over to Atlantis and start exploring the non restricted areas while I check in to obtain the paperwork for the passes.

Thanks in advance for answering this as I have read many of the posts regarding the Comfort Suites and can't seem to find the answer to this!

Happy Sailing!

I will be at Atlantis on Tuesday. I will be checking in at the Comfort Suites. All 6 of us (2 rooms had to be booked for wristbands) will be there this way the people at the check in counter will see all the people we need wristbands for as I would not want them to short me. Better safe than sorry.:p

Just went to the Comfort Suites on Tuesday to gain access to the Atlantis. It was just DH and myself. We both had to sign a paper and they then gave us a registration card that we had to take over to Atlantis to show that we were registered. This card is what you use to make charges for food, etc. Don't lose it. All charges will go to your Comfort suites account. You show the card when you go to go out to the pools. They then let you out to the pool area and you go to any pool hut to show your card and they give you your bracelet. They will also give you towels too, so there is no need to bring your own. I definitely would have everyone with you to register at Comfort Suites. I doubt you would want to have to go to Atlantis to find them and then have to go back to Comfort Suites to register. You will have a wonderful time at Atlantis. Its is not easy to find a chair though so get there as early as you can. The place is huge! You'll do a lot of walking. We had a fantastic time there. :)

Thanks for the info. We plan on doing all the sightseeing we can. Do you think it would be better to swim & do the slides 1st & then do the dig or just the opposite?

TIA

First we found the lazy river and enjoyed that alot. It was very refreshing! Then we went to the beach. Beautiful!! It was very hot so we kind of took a break from the heat and went inside for a while did the dig, the casino and checked out the shops in the lobbys and then went back out to the pools. :)

Do the slides early if you don't want to wait in long lines.

All the adults have to be there when you check in since they each have to sign. This sort of rules out letting anyone go over to Atlantis first unless you are going to let little kids go alone which I know you won't do anyway. You will only be able to get the amount of arm bands that you reserved the room for. Your card that you will be given for your bands will have the totals of adults and children registered.

Our card had 2 + 1 printed on it since we reserved the room for 2 adults and one child. I guess you could always reserve the room for a maximum 2 + 2 even if you only have one kid. Maybe some of you will pick one up along the way on the ship who you will want to take with you. :)

You will definitely want everyone with you at the Comfort Suites. Atlantis is so big and it's quite a walk around, you might never find each other again. Even trying to describe a meeting point would be difficult without being there first to sort it out.
