Breeze vs Sunshine

Looking at 2 cruises, all variables the same except the ship. Breeze vs Sunshine. I was on the Breeze last year and loved it. I know that the Sunshine is a rebuilt "older ship", but has all the goodies of the newest and greatest.... Anyone have any strong views on one over the other?

IMO the Breeze is a no-brainer selection. Larger comedy club, aft pool, larger theatre (Sunshine has nicer Serenity and the Asian restaurant and boards in Port Canaveral versus more crowded, more expensive Miami). ken

The Breeze is our favorite ship so far, but the Sunshine is our 2nd favorite. We loved the offerings of the Breeze like the theater and the spa, but the food was a real disappointment to us. The MDR was just very inconsistent even when bringing out 2 of the same entrees. On the flip side, we thought the Sunshine had the best food of any of our cruises. Ji Ji's was just amazing.

 

Bottom line is that you can't go wrong with either of these ships. You just need to decide if you want to stick with what you know is good on the Breeze or venture out and try something new with the Sunshine.:D

Of all the Carnival ships I have been on, Sunshine is the prettiest.

Have been on both and must admit that Breeze is the better ship. Must say that I love Jiji's which Breeze doesn't have.
