Looking at regal for my first princess cruise....I am somewhat disabled and can not climb pool ladders....I see a lovely pool with stairs surrounded with very swanky seating on the video and it was described as adults only....is this pool connected to the spa or sanctuary where there would be a fee for use?.... or just as it says.....adults only....I'm a lousy walker but enjoy swimming several times a day.....I can't tell you how much time I spend staring at pool photos and how some of the biggest and newest ships don't have stairs.....and I am not ready to use a lift so that will not be a solution...thanks for any input...

Hi - the "Retreat Pool" is in an adult only public area on Deck 17. There is no fee to use the Retreat Pool. This area is adjacent to the Sanctuary, which does have a fee, but the Retreat Pool is free.

These photos were taken by Dave Walker (DMWNC1957) on the Royal Princess last December. The layout on the Regal is the same as the Royal.

The first two photos are of the public pool on Deck 16, but the last three photos show the Retreat Pool, the cabanas beside the pool (the cabanas do have a rental fee) and the free lounger chairs just beyond the cabanas.

There is a small pool in the Enclave/Lotus Spa on Deck 5. I think you have to pay for a full week pass to use the Spa.

The Regal also has an aft pool on Deck 17, which people have said is good for dipping your toes.
