Westerdam cabin 5043

Has anyone stayed in this cabin, or one with a similar location? We are on Deck 5 near the elevator and stairs. I booked us a guarantee balcony and I know that means you take what you get. I'm just curious what the noise level is like at night. We're pretty far forward, but I would imagine there will still be some foot traffic.

The deck below you (Deck 4) and the decks above you (Decks 6,7, and 8) are all staterooms. Your only noise could be from adjoining staterooms "enjoying" their cruise.

 

There is very little noise on the entire ship after 10:00 PM.

It should be really quiet - we had a cabin near the elevators on deck 5 (but aft) on the Noordam, and didn't hear anything from the elevators. Also, there is a picture of cabin 5050 from the Noordam on halfacts.com, it should be the same on the Westerdam as far as layout, etc.

We were in 5037 last week. You may hear a "tone" from the elevators when the doors open, we could when everything else was quiet, but it wasn't a problem. These rooms are wonderfully quiet and peaceful.
