Navigator December 13 Belize cavetubing

I am looking into doing cavetubing.bz with my 3 children. $50 includes lunch. Anyone else doing this tour? Would love to hook up with others as a group if possible.

Best place to look for others would be on your Roll Call.

Did this in March 2015. Great fun. Just make sure you have good water shoes. Also suggest you wear a t shirt and take a dry one to change into. You have to wear a life vest. It is quite a walk to get to the cave. Lunch was tasty. Very ethnic for the area.

Thanks for the tips! This will be a first for us!

We did the cave tubing in Belize last Dec with our kids who were then 7 and 10. I went through a private company instead since they guaranteed a smaller group. http://belizecruiseexcursions.com/Belize_Kids_Cave_Tubing.htm

Kids loved it. The walk through the forest was tough because of having to shlep the tube the whole way. My husband carried his and one of the kids. I carried mine but our other tube was carried by our guide since I had to hold my sons hand during the walk.

Tshirt is a must. Also we bought cheap tennis shoes at Payless to wear during the walk and in the water. That way we didn't care what happened to our regular shoes. It took days for them to dry out too.

BUT it was one of the best excursions we have done. It was a lot of fun and I would totally do it again!
