Is there an approximate time the first Carnival shuttle departs FLL for the Port of Miami?

From their site:

"Prior to your cruise you will be met at the airport:

On the day of the cruise, you will be assisted by our Meet & Greet agents and escorted to your vehicle for transfer to the port. Transfer service begins at approximately at 9:30am."

Expensensive per person rate

you wait til the bus us full

You arrive at the pier with all those people on the bus

You still need to collect your luggage. Some people are under the impression that the cruiselines will take care of it

I agree with the above. Use share a ride

I agree with other posters in this thread also. SAS is the way to go, pretty much anything BUT the Carnival transfers. They use a bus contractor, so you are on a bus with 50 or more other people and you do have to wait until the bus is full to go. Not convenient, cost effective or comfortable. I know because early in my cruising days, we went with the Carnival transfers because we didn't know any better. Now we know better and always go with a private van transfer instead. Half the price, more comfortable and convenient, and in most cases they even get you from the hotel and so you don't have to go back to the airport to get the bus. Another good company is All-Stars, but I don't know if they have as large a service area as SAS. I used them a couple times when staying in Dania Beach years ago.
