Reebster Posted October 13, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 13, 2014 I booked a mini-suite on my upcoming Jade Mediterranean cruise more than a year ago. The cruise is now only a few weeks away. After final payment, prices fell and I called my PCC and shifted my cabin to an aft mini-suite at no extra charge. Two weeks ago, prices fell again and I once again called my PCC to "upsell" myself into an aft penthouse for the suite perks and extra space. Now prices have fallen once again and the SC two-bedroom family suite costs the same price I paid for the aft penthouse. Is it worth it to change again if the price is the same? I've sailed before in the family suite but never an aft penthouse, so I'm not sure which one is actually better. There are only two of us, so the extra bedroom really isn't an issue. Is changing cabins four times too much? I don't want to annoy my PCC too much because he really is great.

Some will say go for the SC because of the 2 bathrooms, but with just 2 passengers in the cabin the aft view would win in my book.
Ilovesailing Posted October 13, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 13, 2014 Do NOT give up the P/H for this cruise as the sailaway down the Venice Canal is just magical and y'll have clear view of both sides as the canal is narrow. Lots of Canon moments.
RJ2002 Posted October 13, 2014 #4 Share Posted October 13, 2014 Our first NCL suite was an aft PH. It was great. Really enjoyed being aft, very peaceful.

Godiva830 Posted October 13, 2014 #6 Share Posted October 13, 2014 Stay in the AFT. Best views. There's a reason why they sell out so quickly and you'll soon find out why :p enjoy it. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Forums mobile app
Professor_MA Posted October 13, 2014 #7 Share Posted October 13, 2014 We just returned from 14 days in a 10th flood aft suite. Our third cruise including two transatlantic in the same room. As far as we're concerned best rooms on the ship. Lots of room perks are great. Nothing much better than having a full meal from Cagney's or la bistro delivered to the room. Go with the aft suite by all means Sent from my iPhone using Forums
DMH15 Posted October 13, 2014 #8 Share Posted October 13, 2014 My last two cruises were in aft PH on the Sun. My next is an aft balcony on another line followed by an aft PH on the Jewel. I obviously love the aft. If you had more pax in your room the 2 bedroom might make sense but for two of you I would keep what you have.
johnsak123 Posted October 14, 2014 #9 Share Posted October 14, 2014 Since there is only two of you and you don't need the extra bedroom to me it would be all about the view AFT penthouse is the way to go
