Liquor question

It has been 6 years since we last cruised with Carnival. Last time we did there were on line forms where you could order bottles of liquor and mixers for your room. Can I assume with the CHEERS program that they no longer offer this as an option?

You may still order from Bon Voyage.

Manage my cruise / cruise details / plan activities / on board gifts and services / beverages.

Prices are a bit high but less than Cheers especially if you are light drinkers or only one in the stateroom drinks.

On longer cruises (more than the 3 or 4 day long weekend types) we find it is easier to just order from Bon Voyage. For my upcoming Splendor cruise, we ordered a bottle of Jack Daniels for $85. I believe it is the liter size, and is probably about twice what we would pay on land.

 

But it is much easier than taking the chance of smuggling, and getting caught....and the convenience is totally worth the extra money to me.

 

We don't drink enough to warrant the Cheers program, but I do like a drink (or three) on my balcony.

Here in Florida Total Wine charges $26.99 for a Liter of Jack Black.

 

Even with the crazy price CCL charges I pretty much always get one delivered to my cabin. Even at the BV prices it is well worth it IMHO. I am of the age and mindset is it really worth the effort and risk of embarrassment to smuggle for the sake of saving $60.00, I mean after all we are on vacation, we are going to be spending money.

 

I get free drinks in the casino so the cheers programs doesn't work for me and I love having a couple of Jacks on the rocks while getting ready or hanging out on the balcony.
