Rare Deeliteful Posted October 20, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 20, 2014 Have tried to find other threads but can't. Travelling in QE in 11days:) can anyone tell me the type of entertainments to expect on board? I have looked at the lecturers and they don't look terribly exciting to be honest. I usually frequent the casino in other ships and enjoy poker and blackjack - are these available? Do they have headliner shows or are they just the resident singing and dancing shows. Any help much appreciated. Thanks Pat
Rare Scrapnana Posted October 20, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 20, 2014 The Royal Cunard singers and dancers will have some performances. Other acts will be brought on for a couple of shows. Some examples from this year's World Voyage - pianist, violinist, guitar player, juggler, illusionist, comedian, tap dancers, tribute bands, and a variety of singers (soloists, duos and trios) that sang various genres (Big Band, R&B, opera, show tunes, 50s, 60s, 70s, etc.). The shows by the resident singers and dancers are ok. We found them very loud at times though. Also there are the usual pianists etc around the ship and as well as the harpist every ship has, there will always be a classical trio playing obscure pieces you have never heard of. The beds are comfortable though. Daviid

(Kate Adie is on one cruise and I would love to hear her, now that would be exciting). I'm sure I'll enjoy the entertainment even if ?I have to make my own :)
