Carnival slot machine instructions

What bumbles said. The slot machine is not an ATM and the casino won't like it if it's used that way.

You need to play a "reasonable" amount of time.

OP, If he forgets to cash out, they'll send a check (if the balance is over some minimal amount).

There are plenty of casino employees wandering around to help him if he gets confused on how it works. All he needs to do is press the "service" button on the machine and someone will be there quickly.

There are usually casino people wandering around on the casino floor the first couple of days, just to help people get their player's account set up. Encourage your dad to ask for help. No point in being frustrated when there are people there to help you.

Also by way of warning, it can be a little confusing when you move from machine to machine. The first time you sit down to play, you can insert cash or charge to you sail and sign account. When you want to leave that machine, select Cash Out to Players Bank. Pay attention to the messages. It will say "$24.40 uploaded to players bank. New players bank balance is now $x.xx". When you go to a new machine and put your card in, you can put cash in, charge to your S&S card, or use the credits in your players bank. I sometimes forget that I have money in my bank and keep charging to my S&S account. It's easy to lose track of how much you have charged, until they slip that big bill under your door on the last night. Remind your dad that he can go to guest services or any of the onboard kiosks to print a statement of his S&s account whenever he wants. Also if he happens to be winning and he has a few extra dollars in his players bank, he can go to the cashier and withdraw some of his winnings and bring that cash to guest services to pay in his S&S account.

I hope your dad has a great cruise and lots of good luck in the casino.
