Podna's Posted October 21, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 21, 2014 (edited) Most times I say pass but $250 total, I'd have to jump on this one. Did you get fttf? Edited October 21, 2014 by Podna's
champagne123 Posted October 21, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 21, 2014 Do you want to spend $250? Do you spend a lot of time on the balcony? Depends on what you want. I would use the extra money for other things...but that is just me. Always looking to SAVE $$$ :p
xxluckxx Posted October 21, 2014 #4 Share Posted October 21, 2014 I would do that in a heartbeat assuming 250 is not going to hurt your vacation

boaterette Posted October 21, 2014 #6 Share Posted October 21, 2014 If it were on a line that gave extra perks for staying in a suite I would grab it.But on Carnival I would pass.
chill6x6 Posted October 21, 2014 #7 Share Posted October 21, 2014 Aft-facing balcony on any Conquest-class ship are great cabins. Suite has priority boarding and a nicer cabin…. I don't know… I've been at those crossroads a few times myself and always pick the aft-facing balcony myself on Carnival. On NCL I'd go for the suite instantaneously! jag.wsfd Posted October 21, 2014 Author #8 Share Posted October 21, 2014 This is 6 days on the Freedom. My current balcony isn't aft-facing. Just towards the aft.. Those were already sold out :(
travler27 Posted October 21, 2014 #9 Share Posted October 21, 2014 (edited) We always get ocean suites forward. I'd jump on it if the price is a deal. We love them. More room to stretch out. Sometimes the upsells "specials" aren't all that special concerning price. Edited October 21, 2014 by travler27

Boozebabe Posted October 21, 2014 #18 Share Posted October 21, 2014 (edited) WOW the suites have much bigger rooms, a seperate dressing area with dressing table, more closets and drawers and a larger bathroom. For me its a no-brainer. I hate the back of the ship. CAUTION.....you'll be addicted to that larger cabin. sjudis Posted October 22, 2014 #19 Share Posted October 22, 2014 Does Carnival have any suite perks besides priority boarding? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
kelkel2 Posted October 22, 2014 #20 Share Posted October 22, 2014 In your situation I would have actually taken that as well. This next cruise I have finally scored an aft-facing so I would have a hard time giving that up, but $250 is a nice deal! Good for you!!!

Orison Posted October 22, 2014 #22 Share Posted October 22, 2014 Interesting that they offered this to you twice. They must really want your booked cabin. Anything special about it? In any case, I would have taken it at $250. Bon voyage!
