Paulette3028 Posted November 9, 2014 #26 Share Posted November 9, 2014 Thanks for all the replies. The cruise is getting closer and closer so the excitement is growing and growing! We are doing My Time dining or whatever it's called. I like the idea of not having to plan around meal time but I will miss sitting with a bunch of strangers:) I love people:) I will attempt the rock wall but I am not physically fit so if I make it up 5 feet off the ground I will pat myself on the back! I did the Dirty Girl Mud Run in September and I could barely walk the next day. The surfboard thingy??? I don't like falling so I will skip that but it does look like fun! Maybe I will go watch for a while for the wipeouts! I really CANNOT wait!!!!!! You don't have to standup on the board to enjoy the Flowrider. I surely would not stand up, but I do go on the Flowrider. It isn't a surfboard, it is a smaller 'body board' similar to what you would use at the ocean to body surf the waves into shore. It is a lot of fun. There will be people who stand up on the boards, but not a requirement to do -- at all.
Desert Cruizers Posted November 9, 2014 #27 Share Posted November 9, 2014 We get lunch, then rooms are ready by 1 PM so drop off our carry ons and unpack them then go exploring. We head back to the room close to 3 PM to see if our luggage has arrived and unpack the suitcases then get ready for Muster and sail away.
Paulette3028 Posted November 10, 2014 #28 Share Posted November 10, 2014 Ice show is a must do We have gone to see the ice show on every ship that has it.....I marvel at how they skate on a moving ship. I can't ice skate on flat, non moving ground....it amazes me. It always is a must see!
