Need suggestions for where to shop

Hi Ladies. I need your help. Please post your favorite websites that have formalwear (besides Spiegel - I have them bookmarked and am considering something from there).

I'm looking for something that is chic and stylish, yet elegant. Certainly nothing frumpy like an old woman, but nothing that looks like I think I'm going to the senior prom.

The other thing - I'm losing weight so this will be a one-time wear kind of thing so I dont' want to spend a lot of money, yet I don't want something that is cheaply made either. I wear Missy sizes, if that helps, so no Lane Bryant or whatever.

After looking for over a year for a cream tuxedo I finally found it at Bloomingdales online, since I ordeded it I have been receiving tons of wonderful catalogs from them, they are a little pricey on some items, but just like Nordstrom, when they have a sale it is a dilly and not to be missed. Sissy, Can you point me towards that tuxedo?? Can you wear it without a camisole underneath it? Sounds like something I would love, espeically with an awesome pearl and rhinestone choker!

and search for ladies tuxedos, I think they always have one available in the formal or dressy clothes. Mine is called ivory and it is made of a dreamy silk, the lapels are solid opalescent bugle beads and the stripe down the leg is beaded as well, I wear it with an ivory lace camisole, and a strand of pearls with a large opal pendant. I wore it on our last cruise for the first time and I felt like a million dollars that night. Sissy
