Follow-up Question to Formal Night

Recommended Posts

The beading doesn't make it impossible, just difficult. You'll pay a pretty penny to have it done. I guess it would depend on how much the dress is worth to you vs. the expense of buying a new one. You should check with some local seamstresses to see what it would cost, but be sure to bring the dress with you when you talk to them because she'll need to see how heavily beaded it is, how they're attached, where it needs to be taken it, etc.

Good Luck!

Hi! I had a beaded gown taken in too! It did cost a bit more but it was cheeper than buying a new one. I was thrilled with the results. It looked even better smaller

I also had a beaded gown altered. Set me back almost as much as the dress, but I've never received more compliments than when I wore it!
