Mariposa Posted May 22, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 22, 2004 Is it my imagination, or has all the summer stuff been put in the stores really early this year? And why did we see so many sales already way before summer even arrived? At this rate there will be slim pickins for the summer closeout sales. Ana04 Posted May 23, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 23, 2004 I agree with you Mariposa!!!. Down here summer stuff came out on sale in February!. All I did was start buying early for my cruise so that I would be prepared. I know that it is so hard to find for example, flip flops later on.... 6/12 Triumph Cruise

Patgo Posted May 23, 2004 #5 Share Posted May 23, 2004 I put shorts on for the first time today. We haven't even had summer yet. It is true though all the Fall clothes are out in July. Pat
Ana04 Posted May 31, 2004 #6 Share Posted May 31, 2004 Patgo, I wouldn't say that fall clothes are coming out in July, it's just that you see summer things dissapearing. I don't know if its that people buy too much of it, or if the stores just stop selling them and move on to another line, more fall like clothes!!. Anywayz it really bothers me, but down here in Miami, its 92 degrees!!! 6/12 Triumph Cruise
nosnobunny Posted May 31, 2004 #7 Share Posted May 31, 2004 I could hardly believe my eyes yesterday. We got the Sears Fall and Winter catalogue delivered. blindone Posted May 31, 2004 #8 Share Posted May 31, 2004 Are you sure it was Sears??? Their catalog business ceased in 1993 as far as their general catalog is concerned. Sure it wasn't Penney's? I worked for Sears catalog for 17 years and I miss that darn book!!!
nosnobunny Posted May 31, 2004 #9 Share Posted May 31, 2004 I'm positive it was Sears. I get 4 or 5 of them a year. They may have ceased their US publications, but not in Canada. We don't have JC Pennys.
