Menswear for dinner

Recommended Posts

OK, I know ya'll have probably answered this a bunch, but I'm down to the wire and packing and need quick answer. While shopping for myself, I did not look after my sweet husband's interests as well, oops. Two formal nights and then five regular dinner nights. Black suit is appropriate for a large man on formal night? Khakis and button downs or knit polos for the other nights? Are ties and sport coats required on the other nights? I, of course, am taking way too much, but that relaxes me, ha! Thanks for your help! CS

You mean I gotta wait this long until we sail?

Dark suit is fine for fomal night.

Khakis & polos for the other nights. Pack the ubiquitous blue blazer, if he has one, & everything will be perfect. The sports coat is not required but it is part of the "uniform" or so my SO & dear father tell me.
