lauren0309 Posted October 31, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 31, 2014 Can you check your daily spending on your sea pass account from the tv in your cabin? On some ships I was able to do that. How about on the Allure?

mrpayroll Posted October 31, 2014 #4 Share Posted October 31, 2014 Yes you can, and it updates the info fast. Wife bought a couple shirts in gift shop and we returned to our room. We checked our account on the t.v and it was already posted.
akcruz Posted October 31, 2014 #5 Share Posted October 31, 2014 It is also a great way to keep track of your kids spending :D. My oldest it was not an issue, but my youngest one was a different story. Each night we would view his account on the TV to make sure he was staying in his budget. If it got bad he knew his spending days were over.
lauren0309 Posted October 31, 2014 Author #6 Share Posted October 31, 2014 So if you have OBC will it put a minus next to the item you purchased?
Havingfun2010 Posted October 31, 2014 #7 Share Posted October 31, 2014 (edited) So if you have OBC will it put a minus next to the item you purchased? Yes, OBC is listed, so you can see when you reach the magic number of $0.00!! It was very helpful. On one cruise, I went out and bought one more drink to reach the magic number. Had a $1.00 credit card bill to pay off when it was done. Edited October 31, 2014 by Havingfun2010
Clarea Posted October 31, 2014 #8 Share Posted October 31, 2014 (edited) So if you have OBC will it put a minus next to the item you purchased? OBC is listed as a separate line item and is applied to the combined balance, not to individual purchases. tinkerme1 Posted October 31, 2014 #9 Share Posted October 31, 2014 Sometimes, OBC isn't posted until the second or third day.
lauren0309 Posted November 1, 2014 Author #10 Share Posted November 1, 2014 Off topic, is the daily dining room menu posted on your t.v. also? We used to view that on some ships too, instead of walking to the dining room to see our choices and decide where we want to eat.
