Time differences in Grand Cayman

Hi,

 

I think GC is one hour behind EST. If that is correct, the itinerary says we are there from 10-6. Is that really 9-5 or is it reflective of the time change on the island, if there even is one? I ask because of a snorkeling tour I am looking into. Thanks!

Grand Cayman is EST. They do not have daylight savings time. So when we set our clocks back this weekend, they will be the same time as Miami/FLL, which will be EST.

 

Currently we are on EDT, that is why they are currently 1 hour behind.

Last summer on a Royal cruise we stayed on ship's time for the entire week (including in Grand Cayman).

On the Freedom of the Seas in October we also stayed on Ship's (Florida) time for the week, so we were an hour different when in Grand Cayman.

As of this morning, Grand Cayman is the exact same time as ship time - EST.
