storing a fancy top

Hi Everyone - I found a lovely sequined top on Ebay, which arrived yesterday. It is very heavy with sequins, and I am afraid if I have it on a hanger for any length of time it will stretch. If I fold it into a box or shelf, I am afraid the sequins will crease. Any ideas? Which do you think is less risky? Thanks.

Wrap the top in acid free tissue paper ... use lots of it...inside the top.. and around it.. then put it in the box. Keep away from heat.

I've done this for years.

Never hang any heavily beaded or sequined item on hangers. They will stretch out of shape and you won't get it back to the original shape. Wrap it gently in tissue, both on the inside and outside of the item. You won't crease the beading.
