Order Liquor Package Onboard?

I see that you can order liquor packages in advance, but can you also order it onboard? Do you order it through room service? Or go to a bar?

You go to a bar and they put a sticker on your sea pass. This was the procedure on the last cruise we were on.

 

Consider doing it in advance. It is imprinted on your card and you don't have to mess with it.

Actually I was asking about buying a bottle of rum for the cabin. Not a beverage package. How do I do that while on the ship?

Don't you ALWAYS pay the 15% service charge regardless of where its purchased? Also if you purchase it pre cruise don't you have to pay tax on it and onboard you will not?:confused:

Not if purchased in the UK. Not read any reports that you have to pay tax purchasing from any other place.

 

On board, you may have to pay tax on it if you purchase on certain cruises - e.g. those cruises starting and ending in [some?] EU countries.

You can do it using menu on your cabin TV. You need to navigate to Gift section and you can pick the bottle you want there...
