Price Drop after final payment and only 42 days out?

So the price has dropped below what I paid but we have made final payment and we cruise in 42 days.

 

I know we cannot get a refund or OCB but do we have any options? Can we upgrade to a better room or pay for an upgrade without any 'fines' for switching?

 

With Carnival when I booked early saver or whatever it is called... we got OCB for price drops.

You may be able to upgrade for free or pay for an upgrade, depending on any restrictions. Contact whoever booked your cruise.

Like Bob has said, you should be able to upgrade without a problem . On our last Freedom cruise, the prices dropped drastically two weeks before we left and we had no problem calling to upgrade to a bigger room at the same price we had booked for.

There will be no upgrade deals. As Bob has suggested, you must call whomever you booked your cruise with and see if, because of the price drop, you can upgrade to a cabin category higher than what you are currently booked in.

RCI does not have rate similar to Carnival's Early Saver where you had to pay a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit.
