We have two free nights to use prior to our cruise in October.

Which is better Hyatt Regency or Boston Harbor Hyatt.

We want to walk the freedom trail and take the on and off bus tour and see Harvard and other historic areas. It'll be a action packed two days.

Since our room is free we probably won't get a room with a view.

The Harbor Hyatt is the one at the airport, right? In which case, the Hyatt Regency is by far the better location - right in the heart of downtown, lots walkable.

Make sure it's the Hyatt Regency Boston, and not the Hyatt Regency in Cambridge, which is a nice hotel, but you'd have to walk and/or take public transit to be able to explore Boston.
