We are booked are the carnival Sunshine coming back on a Saturday morning. The flight times from MCO home are as follows.

12:55pm

4:15pm

6:00pm

and for a little bit more $

3:00pm

if the carnvial websites list 8am disembark will we make the 12:55 flight? or should we go for the 4:15pm/3:00pm flight

We are using a town car service.

Thank you for the advice!

Once the car get out of the port it makes exact 0 turns to get to MCO. It is a straight shot down the expressway. Total travel time is probably 45 minutes with of course more time for drop off etc. No worries at all for it.

You won't have any problems making it to the airport in time. Do expect horendous lines at the security check-in though. You will still make it but it's a shock when you first see how long the lines are.

I've seen some horrendous lines. Usually if you go to the right, the lines are shorter. People seem to stay to the left. At that time of day, there are usually lots of Mickey Mouse ears floating around as families return home with their treasures.

You might even want to consider Melbourne. We`re taking The Sunshine in March and our flight was 100 bucks cheaper ea than into MCO. Annnnnd it`s only 20 miles from Cocoa Beach.

Will have to check out Melbourne for future flights. Thanks for the tip!!!

We steered clear of a 12:05 flight home and opted for a 3:50 flight to be safe. However, we could have made the earlier one easily. We slept in, had a leisurely breakfast and began self assist debarkation around 9 am. We used Carnival's transfer service and arrived at MCO at 11:10. By 11:20 we were wandering around MCO aimlessly with our boarding passes. We had a looong wait for our flight.

Good to know we like to take our time the last day. There's also an 11:55 flight, but I'm thinking that would be a little too close!

We looked in to Melbourne but no flights into our home airport...
