Thank you for the advice!
Cyndi03 Posted November 5, 2014 #2 Share Posted November 5, 2014 You'll be fine withe the 12:55, we've left as early as 11:00 am from MCO
Rare Tapi Posted November 5, 2014 #3 Share Posted November 5, 2014 12:55pm is within the guidelines on the Carnival website Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
Rare nydney1 Posted November 5, 2014 #4 Share Posted November 5, 2014 Piece of cake with a car service. I looked at an 11:30 departure in August and stayed away from it. We could have made it with time to spare. 12:55 should be no problem

Javacruiser Posted November 6, 2014 #6 Share Posted November 6, 2014 As Tapi says, CCL says 12:50 is the earliest they will allow for their shuttles. They are being pretty cautious. We have flights at noon and 12:50pm for 2 future cruises...... Noon is cutting it a bit close but I'm not too worried about it
jdcml Posted November 6, 2014 #7 Share Posted November 6, 2014 Once the car get out of the port it makes exact 0 turns to get to MCO. It is a straight shot down the expressway. Total travel time is probably 45 minutes with of course more time for drop off etc. No worries at all for it.
RWolver672 Posted November 7, 2014 #8 Share Posted November 7, 2014 You won't have any problems making it to the airport in time. Do expect horendous lines at the security check-in though. You will still make it but it's a shock when you first see how long the lines are.

People seem to stay to the left. At that time of day, there are usually lots of Mickey Mouse ears floating around as families return home with their treasures. TNCruzer56 Posted November 7, 2014 #10 Share Posted November 7, 2014 You might even want to consider Melbourne. We`re taking The Sunshine in March and our flight was 100 bucks cheaper ea than into MCO. Annnnnd it`s only 20 miles from Cocoa Beach.
sjcruiser Posted November 8, 2014 #11 Share Posted November 8, 2014 12:55 is a good time, and within the recommended flight departure times.

klct39lg Posted November 8, 2014 #13 Share Posted November 8, 2014 We steered clear of a 12:05 flight home and opted for a 3:50 flight to be safe. However, we could have made the earlier one easily. We slept in, had a leisurely breakfast and began self assist debarkation around 9 am. We used Carnival's transfer service and arrived at MCO at 11:10. By 11:20 we were wandering around MCO aimlessly with our boarding passes. We had a looong wait for our flight.

Good to know we like to take our time the last day. There's also an 11:55 flight, but I'm thinking that would be a little too close! We looked in to Melbourne but no flights into our home airport...
