Sailing on the just refurbished Pride this Sunday. Trying to plan what I will need for extra expenses beyond my OBC. Seeing that I am on antibiotics I probably won't be spending my OBC on alcohol I was wondering if it could be used in the casino via your S & S Card? I should know this answer but I guess the antibiotics have caused me to have a senior moment!

Thanks for the idea of how to use my OBC. Not too much of a drinker here...;)

If it is refundable OBC then go to the kiosk and withdraw it as cash. Then you can use it any way you want.

I use my OBC for tips/gratuities.

Thanks to all of you for refreshing my memory. I have a good amount of OBC and need to spend it on something. I was planning on using it for gratuities and a few drinks but now that is out of the question. Can't let it go to waste so I guess the casino will be mandatory on this trip!

Where does the OBC show up? Our is paid up, and sail in 30 days - should I just trust the PVP that it will show up once we board?

thanks

Joy,

Go to the Cruise Documents in the booking. Scroll down the PDF file and it is usually at the top of page 2.

When I check the invoice - it shows the original price -unless I am totally missing something. I guess I will give her a call

thanks!

So I just went into mine.

1. Go to Cruise Details for this booking

2. select View Cruise Documents

3. check the box for Print General Information and press the SUBMIT button

4. in the pop-up PDF, scroll down to Itemized Charges.

If you have OBC, it will be in a box below the "Itemized Charges" box.

that's where I looked- so gave her a call-hopefully we got it - it was about $70 pp - but when I upgraded - who knows - next time I will book at the last minute!

The only problem with booking last minute is that if it is a popular cruise, you may not get the cabin you desire. For off-season cruises like this one, it isn't a problem. But I have a repo cruise that has been pretty much fully booked within the first couple of months it became available. And the prices are over 60% higher and I doubt I will see it below what I paid.

Well, because we upgraded to a guaranteed balcony, it took away our ES. I'll know next time - or at least wait til the last minute to upgrade. :(

Still a good price. We only cruise in early Dec - so you're right about off season availability

Yes, moving from ES to GTY does wipe out the ES.

We usually go in late Jan or early Feb. But family issues made us switch to the early Dec cruise. So am enjoying the price drops with ES :)
