Car rental companies near pier

Would like to rent a car to do an island tour on our own as we have been to Aruba before. Which companies have an office near the pier that other cruisers might have used. We do not need a jeep to get to the places we want to visit.

I have used Hertz at the Renaissance Aruba Resort with good success. As you exit the pier, turn right and take a short 5 minute walk. A reservation may be made in advance via the Hertz Aruba web site.

I've emailed a couple of places. Jay's Car Rental has already gotten back to me. They said they are outside at the cruise terminal.

They have some decent reviews on Trip Advisor.

 

I'm still deciding, I don't go until March.

We'd like someone right at the pier also and able to return at the pier. We rented here last time and it's a great way to see the island especially if you have a longer day in port. It took us over an hour to return however and that was at the airport. Want to avoid that this time.

have both told me that they are at the pier.

I'm going to give one a call this weekend, on their 800#, to confirm some arrangements.

 

Looking at $90-$99 for a 2 door Jeep for March, total cost $116. Slightly more if we add a 2nd driver and maybe rent one of their phones.

 

Renting a phone might be cheaper, just in case, than using my phone on the island.
