OK I came back from this one last week (there are more threads somewhere). I did the Pompeii tour, one in Barcelona and the trip to Aix-en-Provence. All well worth doing in my opinion. I didn't do one in Sicily and wished I had as it's very hot and crowded and it takes ages to find your way anywhere on foot. As I know Palma well I simply took a taxi to the nearest beach but you can explore that easily by yourself. Didn't get off in Tunis but friends who did were very disappointed by their tour as it was all shopping and not sightseeing despite the title. Depends what you are interested in. Also in Marseille take the shuttle bus into the old port and then the little blue train up to Notre Dame - it's amazing and very cheap.

If you can only do organised tour - make it Pompeii!

Hope this helps. Have a great holiday.
