Jewel of the seas - Aft 7674 or Mid 9576

That's a tough call. Both have extended balconies. You will probably some noise in both of them. Deck seven's noise will be from the club below and deck nine will be from the Centrum. We were on deck 8 on the hump on Brilliance and could hear the Centrum but, we were so tired by bedtime we fell asleep with no problem. Deck seven will be a longer walk to elevators than nine. I have never had a aft balcony, but I hear they are great. We will have one on Jewel in May but, I believe we're on deck nine.

Have fun choosing!

We just got off JOS with cabin 9594 - other side of the hump. We had extended balcony with lounge chair and 2 reg. chairs and table. We just never used lounge chair as there were just two of us and we sat at table enjoying a glass of wine and could talk with each other better. NEVER did we hear any noise from Centrum with door closed. We liked short walk up two flights to Windjammer or Pool.

Cabin #9576 is our favorite cabin on Radiance class ships. It has a larger balcony than standard cabins (big enough for a lounger). It is quiet and very conveniently located to stairs, elevators and most areas of the ship. It is also very close to the library which has a nice little sitting area that overlooks the centrum. I would not give up this cabin. That being said, I need to say that I am not an aft cabin lover...you will probably hear from them!!!:D Whatever you choose, have a wonderful cruise!:)
