mcwoody Posted November 11, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 11, 2014 I'm renting with Alamo out of FLL after a cruise and am trying to find out if I can use their FLL shuttle to PE before the cruise. I tried calling Alamo but their central call center was not able to answer my question, only confirming they have a shuttle. I need a toddler safe transfer which rules out taxis. Thanks in advance. ericosmith Posted November 11, 2014 #2 Share Posted November 11, 2014 In my experience they ask to see a receipt or a reservation depending on which way you're going.

Instead of calling their call center...try calling directly to the rental office..google their number...you're more likely to get a correct answer to your question. They have a separate number that they will give you that is for the shuttle. I don't believe it has ever been answered by anything other than a recording though. ricktwo Posted November 12, 2014 #5 Share Posted November 12, 2014 As of my last cruise in May, the Alamo shuttle was still the "county bus" type of vehicle. Toddler-safe is subjective, but it is a relatively short run on the bus from Port Everglades to the airport on the bus. When I say county bus, I mean it looks like a transit bus (not a mini shuttle).
