Should we stay on the ship? Will be on the Magic in Coz. on Nov.21. Have been there 3 times & at most with 2-3 other ships. This time their are 7. That's including 2 biggies the AoS, Epic. That's a lot of ppl.

A lot of passengers from the other ships come up to the Carnival terminal to shop. Maybe 25k?

A lot of people spread out quickly in Cozumel, I wouldn't skip it unless you want to. However, I would probably book a private excursion to the likes of Mr sanchos or nachi cochum and plan to not spend too much time in the port complex itself

Since you have already been to Cozumel, you know that there are TONS of places to go. All 25K people will not be going to the same place. Do you WANT to get off the ship? It is very common for 3 or 4 ships or more to be in each port.

You will be just fine... 3 things to think about.... not all ships come to port at the same time.... check cruisett.com for port times. Also 20% of people do not get off the ship... and then another 20% do not even leave the port area... esp in Cozumel... for some reason people think its like the mainland of Mexico and are just afraid. So if you are out and about on the island..... if you have 25k in port that day just a tad more than half will be out and about... Hope this helps...

We've been to Cozumel with lots of ships in and we at least left the ship to roam the areas at top of the piers. Cozumel has had more than 7 ships in and while it will be crowded they can mostly handle it.

We love Coz, can't imagine staying on the ship. As others have mentioned plan an activity that has limited people or choose one of the less popular spots. The shops at the pier will be zoo like, just walk on by......

Been there with 9 or 10 ships (some had to tender) and it was fine. Busy, yes, but not terrible. We never stick right around port, heading either on an excursion, a tour or over to the other side of the island. 7 ships is pretty normal and definitley not a deal breaker. Town will be busy.....which is really fun!! The bars and shops will be open and hopping with all the people coming in! It makes it much more lively when there are a lot of people in town.

Get AWAY from the docks and you'll have a blast!
