Rare chrismch Posted November 14, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 14, 2014 Our cruise will be in the month of December. When we did a Christmas and New Year's cruise on Celebrity the had a little garland and a tree in the lobby. Then on a Crystal cruise the first week of December they had all sorts of decorations menorahs throughout the ship. Where does Oceania fall in their decorations - a lot or a little. Does anyone decorate their cabin doors? Anyone have pictures of the ship from a December cruise?
alexandra cruiser Posted November 14, 2014 #2 Share Posted November 14, 2014 they had tons of decorations, and yes many did do their cabin doors. They had a Santa and xmas parade with carols around ship Then Santa at an earlier show, for the few kids onboard, and songs, dance, etc. Only downside was the xmas turkey dinner, would have loved a real turkey, not the breast only. No dark meat option. My DH loves lots of whipped cream on his pumpkin pie, brought extra late and he ate it.Other than these minor things,it was very festive.;)
Tansy Mews Posted November 14, 2014 #3 Share Posted November 14, 2014 On Marina about two years ago they made a magical gingerbread village. When we came out of the Marina Lounge, there were gasps of joy at the sight! And there was extra gingerbread to eat. Even the cooks who were building it looked like little kids having a wonderful time.
