Can anyone tell me what the weather is like and the water temps. I'm sure anything is better than a snowy upstate NY!

Tracy here is the Bermuda weather site

it shows history of what the weather in Bermuda is like. The water will be colder than October and Swizzle can tell you if people swim then...its off season for Bermuda.

For weather January is a real gamble as it is when the cold weather starts. The air temperature drops to mid-60s or lower and the wind comes from the north. With the humidity being so high mid-60s temperatures are not as nice as you'd think. That said the cold weather was late this year, showed up around Jan. 16. The first couple of weeks of January were wonderful, I even went to the beach a couple of times. Water was pretty chilly though so I didn't swim.
