pugsammy Posted November 18, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 18, 2014 Do you wait until you're on board? I want to book a beach excursion but am a little apprehensive in case of rain. The last time I booked an excursion ahead of time, it poured and I felt that it was a total waste of money because we didn't enjoy it! We're sailing on the Dream for New Years......:)
caribsun Posted November 18, 2014 #2 Share Posted November 18, 2014 Most times you are better off just taking a cab to a beach.

Totally understandable. Here is everything you need to know booking through Carnival: http://www.carnival.com/core/faq.aspx#q-591153 In the SEARCH box, type in the word EXCURSIONS Edited November 18, 2014 by susie8862 BBBB

We're sailing on the Dream for New Years......:) We always book ahead of time. Last year rough waters and rain forced them to cancel one of our excursions and they refunded everything that we paid and offered another excursion instead. So we will continue to book in advance. hannahouse Posted November 18, 2014 #7 Share Posted November 18, 2014 We are sailing the Dream for New Years as well! We booked our own excursion thru Victor Bodden. I usually feel confident about waiting until onboard to book a Carnival excursion, though.

jcsuzeta Posted November 19, 2014 #10 Share Posted November 19, 2014 We usually wait until we're onboard to even research what we want to do. We're going on the Miracle to Hawaii in December and while I have done my research and know what I want to do, I will wait until we get onboard.
