Waiting for a recent EPIC WC review....anybody?

I would LOVE to see an Epic Western Caribbean review! We don't sail until mid-January, but we've got some first-time cruiser friends sailing with us and I want to send them something recent to read. They're excited already; seeing pictures or a review would increase their excitement, I'm sure. :-)

 

10 days for you! Have a great cruise! We loved the Epic (got engaged on our balcony!) and can't wait to sail again.

I booked out a year and a half ago and read everything there was about the Epic and about 4 months ago, I stopped. I don't read dailies, I don't want to hear reviews, nothing, I almost disappear from the boards. I want to experience it for myself and reading some posts will disappoint or give you to many expectations and I don't want to be tarnished from my experience. That's my opinion, I know others want to see everything before hand for excitement, or planning, I'd just rather be surprised. When I'm on a ship, I'm definitely on cruise time.... happy sailing!

Whew, for a minute I thought you were asking for opinions about the Epic

bathrooms.

My husband and I recently disembarked from a 2-week trans Atlantic cruise on the Epic.

 

I haven't had time to write a review, yet.

 

You probably do not really want to read it. It won't be great. We were very disappointed in the ship. (We did not like the stateroom design, were disappointed in the service in the Dining Rooms, felt as though we were nickeled-and-dimed constantly)

 

But we did love the itinerary! I think it is hard to have an actual "bad" cruise. The vacation itself was wonderful! And, when you sail, you will also be on vacation, and on a cruise ship, so I'm sure you will have a good time!
