RCCL Confirmation Format

We have sailed with RCCL several times, and we have always received confirmation of our booking with complete details, room number, amount paid, balance due, due date for final payment, etc.

 

There are several of us going on a cruise in April. Only three of us have cruised before. The new confirmations only show us the amount we paid at the time of booking and nothing else. When we check our reservation online, it only shows the names and the itinerary.

 

When we called the RCCL contact number, different people were given different final payment dates. I did, however, compute the 75-day prior to cruising date.

 

Have any of you noticed this? Has RCCL changed their confirmation format?

If the format has changed, it must have changed very recently. I just got a confirmation last week that had the usual format.

 

Ours was booked in October. Yesterday I sent an e-mail in reply to their confirmation dated October 21, but have not even received a customary confirmation that they received an e-mail from me and that they will be getting back to me.

 

Thanks for your quick response. I'll let you know what happens.

Every time I book on line I have call to get a booking confirmation sent to my email.

If you book over the phone, just ask for one.

We got the confirmation via e-mail - just not in the traditional format and no details.

Did you book yourself online? Or as a group?

 

After I booked, one of my daughters talked to RCCL and got a group ID number. We received the confirmation before my daughter booked her cruise.

 

But, does that make a difference?

I would call instead of emailing. Better to talk to them one on one.

I wanted to have a paper trail, but that's a good idea if I don't hear anything in the next couple of hours.
