lauren0309 Posted December 2, 2014 #1 Share Posted December 2, 2014 I'm looking to book my next cruise. If I book a balcony, is there a discount for C&A Emerald members? There used to be coupons online but since they don't have them anymore, just wondering.
krisko Posted December 2, 2014 #2 Share Posted December 2, 2014 I don't believe so, think that starts at Platinum and gets bigger with Diamond.

Savings are not redeemable for cash and non transferable. When reserving the applicable offer code and a valid Crown & Anchor Society membership number must be included in the reservation. Platinum, Emerald, Diamond, Diamond Plus, and Pinnacle Crown & Anchor Society member will receive an increased discount for making a reservation for a sail date outside of 6 (six) months. This offer can only be combined with the Onboard Booking Bonus while making a reservation onboard a Royal Caribbean ship. This offer cannot be used with certain restricted fares and is not combinable with any other promotion or offer, including, but not limited to Shareholder Benefits, dollars off and onboard credit offers, MyCruiseSM Upgrades, Companion Fare and Free Cruise promotions and benefits. Offer can be used in conjunction with crown & Anchor exclusive Onboard Booking Bonus. Royal Caribbean International will deduct the applicable offer value from final payment upon review. Discount applies on a per stateroom basis; double occupancy. Singles paying 200% are entitled to full face value. Prices vary by ship and sail dates; space is subject to availability at the time of making your reservation. krisko Posted December 2, 2014 #7 Share Posted December 2, 2014 (edited) I'm higher than Platinum, I'm Emerald. I always screw that up... I only started taking notice of the balcony discounts when I hit Diamond. Edited December 2, 2014 by krisko
lauren0309 Posted December 2, 2014 Author #8 Share Posted December 2, 2014 So since I can only get the discount while onboard I guess I missed my chance. Just got off a cruise 2 weeks ago. I guess I should have booked it then but I wasn't sure yet where I wanted to go :(

killtheump Posted December 2, 2014 #12 Share Posted December 2, 2014 (edited) Login to RC site and do a mock booking, it will show the discount in summary of charges. Should be $125. Edited December 2, 2014 by killtheump
jticarruthers Posted December 2, 2014 #13 Share Posted December 2, 2014 Balcony may or may not be combinable with the various sales going on though.
reney313 Posted December 2, 2014 #14 Share Posted December 2, 2014 I'm Emerald as well. Balcony discount is $125 The discount is not combinable with some OBC offers (like WOW sales, etc). You take whichever one is higher. It is combinable with past passenger rates. You mentioned the old c&A coupons that used to be online (provided a discount on the overall cruise rate based upon cabin category). Now, that pricing is reflected when you log in online and search for a cruise. When you get to the end where the price is, you can click on a hyper link that breaks down the pricing. Sometimes there will be an additional discount listed, and that discount (among other things) is the replacement of the certificate. Just like the certificates, it's only on a limited amount of sailings. It has been harder to tell what you are receiving from C&A loyalty vs. the many different sales they have going on. Ken at the beach Posted December 2, 2014 #15 Share Posted December 2, 2014 Balcony discount varies by length of cruise. Also subtract $25 from these discounts if booked within 6 months of sail date. Emerald Balcony Discount When Booking More than 6 Months from Sailing Date: $ 75 * for sailings of 3-5 nights $125* for sailings of 6-9 nights $225* for sailings of 10-14 nights $225* for sailings of 15+ nights
330searay Posted December 3, 2014 #16 Share Posted December 3, 2014 I just booked for April of 16. Being we are platinum we got 100.00 discount. I would say that emerald would probably be 125.00.
