I've found the website and have seen the schedule for the tri rail, but can't find the cost. Wanting to go from FLL to MIA airports. I understand needing to handle your own luggage is important, but once on the rail, what do you do with your luggage? Overhead compartments? How safe is it at 6 PM on a Saturday evening for 3 women traveling together?

 

Does it actually pick up and drop off at the airports or is it just "near by".

The tri rail stations do not go from FLL to MIA you have to transfer.

 

The tri rail after dark? No. Take a shuttle.

 

The stations are in really bad parts of town.

 

Day before yesterday the tri rail station was closed due to a car jacker in the area that murdered someone.

During the day it would be perfectly fine but after dark I would find another transportation mode.
