atlcple2 Posted August 23, 2005 #2 Share Posted August 23, 2005 I'm pretty sure you can book a shuttle through Carnival to and from the airport to the port. Might want to give them a call.
dan40 Posted August 23, 2005 #3 Share Posted August 23, 2005 How many in your party? Embarkation day or the day before? I understand CCL has tranfer shuttles, but charges PP so it can add up. Some local shuttles have a flat fee, don't have any experience to recommend one. You can rent a car from Avis or Budget, drop it near the port and they will shuttle you to the ship, vise versa on your return. This is the best way to go if you have 4 or more in your group and/or you're coming in a day early. You'll need the car at night. Dan
OTTER Posted August 23, 2005 #4 Share Posted August 23, 2005 Round-trip transfers are $50 PP. You can call them to purchase.
kevinlsu Posted August 23, 2005 #5 Share Posted August 23, 2005 It is cheaper to rent a car on-way MCO to port/cape Canaveral. Thrifty and Budget have shuttles. Others may have too. KevinLSU
cruzn buckeye Posted August 23, 2005 #6 Share Posted August 23, 2005 We used Florida Town Car service. They picked us up at the baggage area and helped with the luggage. After the cruise...even though we were an hour later getting off the ship than we expected.....there was our driver waiting for us. It was 150.00 rt total. The CCL shuttle would have cost us 100.00 . It was worth the extra 50 to not have to wait for the buses to fill up and to have a comfortable roomy ride back and forth.
Rare silentbob007 Posted August 24, 2005 #7 Share Posted August 24, 2005 I have personally used Budget and it is great. Got a car really cheap overnight, drove it to Cocoa Beach, and hitched the free shuttle to the airport ... real easy.
