Nassau tours for old folks

Going to Nassau in Dec., can anyone recommend indepent tours ? No beaches this time.

When you get off the ship there will be 43278 taxi drivers/tour operators that will want to give you a tour if the island. Just pick one negotiating the price and if you like it go. Just make sure he has a taxi id and is in the union. And I picked one that didnt make us pay untill we were done!

I think it was 25 dollars a person and it lasted a little over two hrs, when it was over he dropped us off at the beach

You don't need a tour or a guide for the Gardens and zoo. it isn't that large and you don't need anyone's help feeding the parrots or watching the flamingo's march around. :D:D:D

 

really, a tour including this part would be to drop you off for a few hours and pick you up later. really not needed.

Learned this the hard way last week. Many of the historical places just can not accomodate people with disabilities. Tried a tour and it was a waste of money.
