Another itinerary change - Silhouette 12/7

First, we were told Silhouette would not be stopping in San Juan because its speed is limited due to its azipod problem.

 

Just now, we were told that we WILL be going to San Juan for a full day tomorrow (Wednesday), but will then skip St. Kitt and go directly to St. Maarten Thursday as scheduled.

 

Fine by us, but sorry for those who are going to miss the fort in St. Kitt.

I have a feeling that until the Azipod problem is fixed that Celebrity might just have The Silhouette alternate the missed ports... So as to spread "the misery" around... The ports of call really rely on the Cruise Ship Revenue (especially so when it comes to a big ship like The Silhouette)

 

Lol, just one more reason any one planning a Wedding should never book one for a Cruise Ship Port of Call !!!

 

Those are the folks to really feel sorry for (if there are any on your sailing who had planned for that to happen in St Kitts)

 

Cruises make better Honeymoons :D

This one is due to the fact that they got seven hours behind due to the medical emergency and return to Port Everglades, in addition to the azipod problem.
