hlb76 Posted December 12, 2014 #1 Share Posted December 12, 2014 Hey all. I'm just trying to make sense of my OBC I have for my upcoming cruise. I should have $160 in OBC from price drops. Though when I go to "manage my cruise" and look at my booking it says I have $50 in OBC - this is where I have normally found my credits. I also have $110 under misc charges with the sub-category of fees and credits. I'm sure it is all there and I really dont worry as I have the paper work saying I have $160 in OBC. Its just a little confusing to look at.
snc_cam Posted December 12, 2014 #2 Share Posted December 12, 2014 Go to the View Cruise Documents in your booking and then Print Documents. Scroll down a few pages and it will show your OBC.

Smilner01 Posted December 12, 2014 #5 Share Posted December 12, 2014 I think non refundable OBC is listed as OBC and refundable is listed as fees and credits. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Its just a little confusing to look at. For the very first time we had the same thing happen....listed in 2 places and the part that was under "misc charges/fees and credits" was the most confusing. So I called CCL, it even confused the CCL rep and her supervisor......after holding and a long wait, they submitted some kind of form to "customer resolution" dept....and the next day I was resent a new confirmation showing the entire sum under OBC on both the new confirmation and in "cruise docs" too. I agree, OP, it is very confusing...you might want to call them like we did!
snc_cam Posted December 13, 2014 #10 Share Posted December 13, 2014 My OBC isn't showing.. Do you have an email showing the OBC? If you haven't already, you should also call Carnival and discuss this with them.
Mparis184 Posted December 14, 2014 #11 Share Posted December 14, 2014 I always make sure my OBC is clearly shown on my confirmations and immediately call if I don't see what has been promised. I spend my non-refundable OBC in the spa and if I have any refundable OBC left I ask them to give me a refund on my credit card. Last year (on a different cruise line) I got back $250. I have an email from my TA. Is it different if you use a TA?
snc_cam Posted December 14, 2014 #13 Share Posted December 14, 2014 I have an email from my TA. Is it different if you use a TA? yes, it will be different than an email from Carnival. Since you used a TA, you should call them and have them send you a confirmation email showing all of your OBC.
