We are going on the Quantum in Jan. and would like to use my phone. Do they have service for Android phones? I just want to be able to text my husband on board and family at home. How much does it cost? 10 day cruise.

Texting would be through your cellular provider. There is probably some internet based texting program that I'm not aware of but texts use the cellular network. I know AT&T has cruise ship packages and I'd say Verizon does too. Others on here probably know the most economical way to stay in touch.

If just wanting to communicate with another onboard then use the Royal IQ app, it costs something like $12 a day, or if you want an Internet package, purchase that and use an app like WhatsApp to communicate
