How is the weather?

Is the new storm (Katrina) doing any damage? It looks like the storm went right thru the Bahamas.

Our local news just said "Katrina" may be coming ashore near West Palm Beach, FL on Friday morning. :(

I'm still at work, yup, they wont let us go home until 6PM!!!! Anyways, right now it is really windy, a noisy strong wind and raining hard.

 

The lights in this building have been flickering on and off for the past 2 hours.

It's not cold outside, just extremely nasty.

 

I am currently in Broward, but live in Palm Beach County.. Will update later about the weather conditions there....

 

What I do know and can see right now is that there are lots of branches already down and blowing across Federal Hwy. The trees are swaying as are the traffic lights. The lights just flickered again so maybe we'll get lucky, the power will go out and they'll have to send us home!!!
