Captainrobert Posted December 25, 2014 #1 Share Posted December 25, 2014 We were just off the Quantum of Seas which I considered the Best Ship RCCL has ever launched! The dining & Entertainment were 2nd to none! We have been on every class of ships RCCL has to offer. Some technology and activity glitches but other than that it was a great cruise. Anyway back to the title of the subject, possible RCCL cruise once in a lifetime opportunity! OTownNick Posted December 25, 2014 #2 Share Posted December 25, 2014 Wow. So who's going on that? Not many would be able to but I know if I were retired, that would be very tempting
springaussie Posted December 25, 2014 #3 Share Posted December 25, 2014 It is only 58 nights. No overnight stops in Barcelona, Dubai, Singapore and Perth. Milford, Doubtful and Dusky Sounds are visited the same day.

Yes I knew number of days was incorrect as I included duplicated days for each switch from one stage to next the next stage, which equated to 7 extra days. During each stage, thanks for correcting. It is very unique RCCL cruise which doesnt happen every day. Not your standard Caribbean, European or South East Asian cruise for sure.
Captainrobert Posted December 26, 2014 Author #6 Share Posted December 26, 2014 Any price yet??? I priced it out with my Diamond Plus status, for my wife and I for whole trip excluding air and excursions about 20K Cdn for whole cruise for two of us. Great deal! Because of repositioning. newport dave Posted December 26, 2014 #7 Share Posted December 26, 2014 We're doing the Dubai to Singapore section. There are a couple of posters on our Roll Call who are doing the full whack. I think they're either from the UK or Aus so they only have one way air travel. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
tomatosauce Posted December 26, 2014 #8 Share Posted December 26, 2014 I am hoping to do the Perth to Sydney section to repeat the experience that I had when the Voyager did the same thing but the prices are a bit high at the moment for solo (I hate the buy one get one half off sales). I wanted to start at Singapore but the itinerary from Singapore to Perth is annoying no intermediate stop in Western Australia. If I am traveling in the area I want to at least stop at Port Hedland. mazrules Posted December 27, 2014 #12 Share Posted December 27, 2014 I'm doing the Southampton to Dubai segment. Would be interested to hear about where to stay for a couple of days in Dubai, preferably a reasonably-priced hotel with shuttle service to the airport (and/or even from the pier to the hotel). M. newport dave Posted December 27, 2014 #13 Share Posted December 27, 2014 Not sure about hotels , we're staying at the Arabian Courtyard Hotel. But this is our first time to Dubai. Taxis are supposed to be extremely cheap, and I don't think the airport is that faraway. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
