guarantee room

So for the first time I booked ov guarantee, I've gotten my room assignment and I was placed bottom of the ship in the very back. My question is.... Is there any thing I can do, or I'm I just out of luck? I'm sure I could pay more and get an upgrade, but the funds are a little low after Christmas. Thanks, and no bashing please.

Why not just asked to me moved to another room of the same category or see if you can be upgraded for a small fee . It never hurts to try anything , guess the salesmen always comes out in me whenever I go anywhere . I have been upgraded in hotels , rental cars, flights . Never hurts to ask , all they can say is no or it will cost X amount .

We have done just the reverse in cruising. Started out in balcony and loved them at first then they either were too hot or never used because we like to be out and about and we went to OV's on the 2nd deck and love them and always get further to back. Now I tend to stay closer to elevators due to husbands mobility problems. I would love your assignment!
