jmf123 Posted December 26, 2014 #2 Share Posted December 26, 2014 cruzfiend, there are some Jost Van Dyke threads on the Tortola Ports of Call forum: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=290. :)
cookmg40 Posted December 26, 2014 #3 Share Posted December 26, 2014 Yes, I've gone there from St. Thomas with a private tour company. It was a great day. We made a few other stops in the BVI. The company is St.Thomasboatrental dot com.
cruzfiend Posted December 27, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted December 27, 2014 Thanks, for the replies. I wondered if it was doable.
blue_water Posted December 27, 2014 #5 Share Posted December 27, 2014 Yes as cookmg said there are outfits that will run you over, most out of the east end of STT and can be found under daysails or charters on the Vinow dot com site. There's also a Dolphin Shuttle if your hours in port work. Enjoy!
reganshamrock Posted December 29, 2014 #6 Share Posted December 29, 2014 Have done it, but it is expensive....around $175 per person plus tip for the captain.

2PinaColadas Posted December 29, 2014 #8 Share Posted December 29, 2014 (edited) I loved White Bay at Jost before it became so popular. It was extremely crowded when we were there last :(. Only being in STT for the day, I am not sure that I would spend the majority of a day getting to and from Jost. blue_water Posted December 29, 2014 #9 Share Posted December 29, 2014 Yes it is more expensive and time consuming even with the ferry or Dolphin Shuttle. We go there while staying on Tortola. But I have to say for someone on STT, if one had enough time in port the Daydreamer out of Dreams Sugarbay looks wonderful.
