Rental cars in Port Canaveral?

We have from 7:00AM to 8:00PM in Port Canaveral on our cruise in July. Is this enough time to rent a car and go to Sea World for the day? Are there rental car places right at the port? How hard is it to pick up and return a rental car at the port? We really don't want to go to the Space Center, and we will probably be all "beached out" by the time we get there. I thought a day at Sea World would be nice.

Yes, that would be plenty of time to go to Sea World.

There is an Avis and a Hertz in Cape Canaveral. Once you have your car, it will be almost exactly 1:15 drive to Sea World. So you could realistically have your car and be at Sea World by 9:00 a.m. You'd have to leave around 5:30 to get back in time.

Have a great time, but keep in mind that the Orlando area parks are VERY HOT AND CROWDED in July.

Thanks for the info. I thought it would be enough time. We went to Disney World in May once and I remember how hot it was then. We will prepare for the heat!
