So to earn most of these perks, it's based off of slot play? Have they added any sort of consistent points earning the the table games (even the video based poker tables)? I cannot stand slot machines, but love table games. Kinda sucks being excluded from all these perks because I'm gambling the "wrong" way.

I received the offer and only play table games.

The wording is "eligible" means you will be offered an invite but you are not "guaranteed" to be able to go, just like on all the premier cruise offerings. A space will NOT be held for you. It is a limited offer that may be sold out.

just got my snail mail on this offer... now it shows in one place "will be eligible" for the ultra cruise. Yet in another place it shows if i book and sail on one of these, I will be qualified to book the ultra cruise. Does "qualified" mean yes, i can do it... i am so confused...

We are only table players. I've only been on two carnival cruises, starting in 2014, (April and Oct). I have received the premier offers twice now, and finally based on my schedule was able to take advantage of one. We are sailing on the Sunshine on Feb. 20th, The offer was for a free ocean view, and some casino cash. My wife got an offer for an inside room and some casino cash, so we opted to use mine. I have been searching the message boards to see how the casino cash worked as a friend of mine thinks its "match play".

On a side note, I wasn't able to respond to the first Premier offer, but did get an invitation to the Ultra cruise also. Couldn't take advantage of that either as it was so near the holidays.

We are so looking forward to our upcoming cruise, as the weather in NC has sucked lately. I have no idea of what to expect in the way of "perks". If anyone knows, please let me know.

I just booked my first premier casino offer my question is can my travel companion go to the functions and do they get anything that I get.

This is my first premier cruise, and in my vast amount of research (lol, my wife thinks that's funny, as I am a planner), the best I can determine is that everyone in your cabin is eligible. The general consensus is that there will be a package in your stateroom with all the details for you and your companion when you get there. But don't hold me to any of this, I'm just a researcher and this will be a first time experience for me. lol

We just accepted a premier cruise offer for this sailing also! It will also be our first, although we did get a free cruise offer on our last day of saling on our last cruise.Sadly we couldnt go again so soon after our last. I'm excited to see what the experience is like.

As for casino cash, each time we received it it was in form of cash from the cage....we didn't technically have to donate it... :D

So I am just a lurker on this thread. Hubby and I don't really gamble although I love playing black jack and the roulette wheel. I have seen mention on the boards about casino offers and now just read this thread. How does one get in this players club? Is this for big rollers? Is there a spending threshold? Thanks in advance.

The only thing your companion won't get is the casino cash. Unless they have also received an offer.

The Players Club is for people that play in the casino. When you start betting or sit at the blackjack table, show the pit boss your sail and sign card so they can rate your play.

I have spent way too many hours sitting at the tables and playing black jack, in a lot of different casinos. Without a doubt, in any casino I've ever entered, (and there have been absolutely way too many), the best way to gain any "perk" is to befriend the pit boss. He's usually the best dressed, and probably wearing a suit. He can get you what ever you ask for, or not, but it never hurts to ask. Some bosses are much better than others, and offer the perks, where some have to be asked.

On the past two cruises I've taken the pit bosses were some of the best I've ever encountered. (Carnival Elation, and Carnival Fascination). When the casinos were not so busy, they were eager to make conversation and chat about their countries and ours. The dealers and pit bosses on the Sunshine have big shoes to fill after having experienced the other two cruises.

We just received the same offer and are booked the Sunshine for 2/20. I agree about befriending the pit boss. Last cruise the pit bosses were great; friendly and funny. We chatted often and at length. Previous offers were for $25-$75 free play and some sort of discount. Now we're getting a free cruise and $200! WooHoo!

I went on an Elite Cruise in October 2014, and, as I understand it, the levels are as follows:

Elite (top)

Ultra (middle)

Premier (lower)

:)

Hello,

Just wondering how to get invitation to Elite? What did you play slots or table? What did you bet per hand?

Or its by points? Could you pls give this info if its possible?

Thank you :)

I get the premier, ultra and elite offers. I cruise often and put a lot of time in playing slots. Sometimes I win, but most times I do not. It doesn't matter if you win or lose, it's based on the time you gamble and the points you accumulate. I would think that table players get rated, and the offers based according to time played and amount bet. If you get invited to a premier cruise and play a lot, you will get the other offers. I attended the Ultra cruise in Dec and it was great. Everyone who attended got a nice prize. I was fortunate to win an ultimate cruise package. I hear the Elite cruises are great, but unfortunately I missed the one last year. I did not respond quick enugh and it was filled up in just a few hours. Another Elite offer came out today and the dates are no good for me. Well, maybe next time. Good luck to you.

You said :"Another Elite offer came out today and the dates are no good for me. "

Do you know how many times per year there are sending Elite offers? Or this one that you just got was for whole 2015 year or just for particular cruises in particular month?
