possible first timers..need some persuasion

Recommended Posts

WHEN/WHERE you sail is more of a determining factor when it comes to typical age on the ship. Early December is a lot older crown even in the Caribbean...Caribbean overall is younger than Europe...larger ship will have more age groups...Spring Break brings a lot of younger people on any line...holidays/summer brings lots of families.

Additionally, we have found people our age that are a blast (and a bore, or worse, rude) as well as those younger than us that we have had a blast with all week--and even those a bit older!

We have had a blast on every cruise we have been on, all though our late 30s-40s. Even our Princess cruise in early December (CONSIDERABLY older crowd) we found a couple in their 30s (first cruise--they were a bit concerned with the demographics) & hung out all week together.

And we like to be busy all day (with some pool time, too), dine, gamble & dance late into the night--the only line the nightclub was dead late was DCL.
